Separate the map from the service.
In Folsom, the city’s trail maps and SacRT’s station information are different resources. The city describes a network of Class I trails; SacRT identifies the Gold Line stations. A path near a station does not establish a schedule or a safe, accessible connection for your circumstances.
Check the first part.
Start from the home’s street. How would you reach the station or trail entrance? Consider the belongings you normally carry and where you would keep them when you return. Confirm the current operator information instead of assuming every train reaches the same destination.
Check the last part.
Continue the thought experiment beyond the station. Where does the trip finish, and how would you return if the day changes? A plan that works only under one set of conditions may be an acceptable trade-off, but make that decision consciously. Do not let an attractive map quietly make it for you.
Keep a practical record.
Your checks stay in this page and are not sent or saved.
Use the result to narrow questions.
The outcome may be a location priority, a storage requirement or a question for a visit. Add it to the conversation alongside your budget and space needs. Return to Folsom’s community guide or compare the route worksheet before making a shortlist.
